The County of Sierra, the Sierra County Fire Safe and Watershed Council, and Jim Turner of the SPI Loyalton cogen plant have worked together to make your air cleaner.

Piles of "green waste" which would have been burned at one time, fogging the air and warming the globe, will now be lighting homes, instead.

Thanks to a cooperative effort carbon that would once have been a problem is now a green energy resource!
