Sierra Cascade Family Opportunities is a private non-profit corporation founded in 1989. Our sole purpose is to provide quality child development programs in the four counties of Sierra, Lassen, Modoc, and Plumas.
SCFO operates Head Start and Early Head Start programs serving children age 0 to 5 years and pregnant mothers. In Sierra County we serve children age 0-3 years and their families in a home based program. In Lassen and Plumas Counties we serve children age 0-5 years and their families in both home based and center based programs. In Modoc County we serve children age 3-5 years in a center based program.
