Resident Files Suit
A suit has been filed in Federal Court containing allegations by a Calpine resident that key individuals representing Sierra County violated her individual rights.
The Sierra County Board of Supervisor’s agenda lists:
Closed Session pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9, pending litigation, Kathryn Kelly (sic) v. Larry Allen et al., United States District Court Case #CV-00557-GEB-DAD.
Ms. Kelley released a statement to the media:
The treatment I have received under the "Justice System" of Sierra County has violated my Constitutional rights and has caused me to suffer irreparable damages. I hope the citizens of this County vote for qualified candidates who will not jeopardize their cherished freedoms so they do not suffer the same fate.
