Power Line Maintenance Projects Will Affect the Loyalton Area

Maintenance projects at three Sierra Pacific Power substations will result in power outages for the Sierra Brooks, Loyalton and Hobart Mills/Klondike Flats areas next week.   

The outage affecting Sierra Brooks will be on Wednesday, Sept. 8, from 9 to 1 p.m.; the outage affecting the Hobart Mills/Klondike Flats area is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 11, from 8 a.m. to noon; and the outage affecting the town of Loyalton will be on Sunday, Sept. 12, from 8 a.m. to noon.  Power lines serving the area will need to be de-energized so the work can be completed.
