Montel Williams Starts Cannabis Dispensary in Sacto 061511

 

Television and radio star Montel Williams has announced he’ll open a cannabis dispensary in Sacramento.  Williams, 55, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1999 and has been an outspoken supporter of MS research and patient support.  The disease attacks the “insulation” around nerves, leaving them scared and malfunctioning.  Depending on the subtype of the disease, it can eventually damage the brain and spinal column so badly the sufferer is completely disabled. 

 

Williams said medical cannabis helps with his MS, and his dispensary will educate people on the proper use of medical cannabis.
