USFS District Ranger Genise Froelich held an Open House on the front

lawn of the Sierra County Planning and Public Works building in

Downieville on Monday. Residents and seasonal miners dropped by to

meet with Froelich and USFS Mineral Guy Greg Shimke. Capturing a large

part of Froelich's ear were Pat Keene, Orange County Miner Chris Brant

and Tom McClintock's guy, Tim Holabird.
