Darkness In the Canyon

Darkness: The Power Goes Out in the Canyon
  112410

The Power of Winter overcame the Power of PG&E and the lights went out in the Canyon.
The Dissenting Editor reports from the scene that the power went out in the Canyon on Saturday evening about 7:30 and stayed out until Monday morning in Downieville, when the generator was fired up there.  It might still be out in some lower canyon towns.

Downieville in complete darkness

At this time there is no information on the cause, but some think the screaming winds, wet, heavy snows and resulting snapping and toppling trees might be the cause.  Others think it might be environmentalists and their government lackeys.   Maybe both are right.
