Draft Outline April 15, 2010 Purpose of Plan: To identify and address all sources of particulate matter in the Loyalton Area and recommend final action to reduce particulate matter deposits. The Plan will be developed with input from Loyalton residents.

Part One: Particulate Matter
Small/inhalable particles (10 microns and less) To identify and address all sources of particulate matter in the Loyalton Area and recommend final action to reduce particulate matter deposits. The Plan will be developed with input from Loyalton residents.
Part Two: Discussion of Air Quality Compliance History, Technical Studies and Information Part Three: Particulate Matter Plan Objectives Objective One: Explore Current Sources of Particulate Matter, Magnitude, and Type of PM
Objective Two: Identify Opportunities for PM reduction (quantify reduction when/where possible) Objective Three: Identify Health/Cost Benefits of PM Reduction Possible Sources: Industrial Yard Waste Burning Prescribed Burning (Large land owners) Illegal Burning Vehicles Wildfires Pollen Woodstoves and Fireplaces Agricultural Unpaved Roads Paved Roads
