A second fire was ignited near Calpine, but was quickly extinquished.
The USFS, Sierraville, reported that lightning Monday Night started a small fire a mile west of West Willow near Sierraville. Because the fuel moisture is relatively high, and because crews were at hand, the fire was restricted to about 3 acres.
